We are here to support your oral hygiene efforts and assist with any issues you are facing. Regular dental visits with us will help you maintain your smile and prevent tooth decay. It’s never too late to start caring for your teeth, and our friendly staff is ready to get you back on track.

Friendly Preventative Dentistry

Good oral hygiene starts at home, and we support you along the way. We recommend brushing your teeth at least twice per day or after every meal for at least 2 minutes. It’s also a great idea to schedule your check-ups in advance, so you don’t forget to visit us to ensure your teeth and gums are healthy. This step will reduce the likelihood of any major dental issues in the future. During your exam, we inspect your teeth and gums and perform a clean and polish. On your next visit, we’ll do a routine x-ray to check for underlying issues or decay that are not visible on a regular exam.

General Dental Services

At some point in your life, you may need some specialized dental intervention. We can help with dental fillings, root canals, retainers for teeth grinding, and more. Are you concerned about oral cancer? Are you predisposed to gum disease, or do weak teeth run in your family? We are glad to answer any questions when providing the care and treatment that’s right for you. Our comfortable atmosphere will make you at ease during your visit with us.

Crowns and Bridges

Crowns and bridges are part of a common dental restoration technique that restores the appearance and function of teeth. Crowns are prosthetic caps that fit over damaged teeth to lend the teeth added strength and protection from further damage. Dental bridges consist of a false tooth and at east two crowns created as one piece. Dental bridges can be used to close the open spaces in a smile created by missing teeth. Together, crowns and bridges can be used to restore a smile to a more natural appearance.

Dental Implants/All-On-4

Dental implants are used to replace missing teeth. Implants not only restore a smile's appearance, but they also serve to maintain the bone structure of the face. For those with several missing teeth in a row, advances in dental technology have made it easier to completely recreate a beautiful smile. Our dentist can replace several missing teeth, or even a full row, in as few as four strategically placed implants.

Davis Reed Dental creates custom full and partial denture sets to replace missing teeth and the surrounding tissue. Partial dentures are offered for patients who have some natural teeth remaining while complete dentures when it is necessary to replace all of a patient's teeth.

Tooth Extractions

Dental extractions are performed when there is no opportunity to save the tooth. Heavily damaged or decaying teeth may be restored and protected using crowns or other methods, but some situations may require complete removal of the tooth to promote overall dental health.
A tooth may also need to be removed if it has grown in such a way that is causing pain or affecting the position of other teeth.

Cleanings

Routine dental cleanings are a critical part of achieving and maintaining great oral health. As we eat and drink between cleaning appointments, food and plaque gather on our teeth. Even with diligent brushing and flossing, it is important to see your dentist for a dental cleaning at once every six months.

Periodontal Treatment

Periodontal disease, commonly known as gum disease, is the result of untreated plaque, the sticky film of bacteria that forms on our teeth. While plaque is always forming, gum disease can be avoided with proper daily care. Unfortunately, many patients are affected by gum disease every day. Davis Reed Dental treats this infection of the gums using techniques like scaling and planing to deep clean and remove the infection.
